David is manager of the Royalty Fishery on the Hampshire Avon - England’s most famous mixed game and coarse angling venue. The fishery is known for the quality of its spring salmon fishing and still produces fish to thirty pounds. Tuition is available on the Royalty Fishery for both individuals and small groups in all aspects of double handed fly casting, including fishing the sunk line, which is necessary on this fishery and other rivers in England and Scotland during early and late season.

Using contacts secured over the last 25 years, David is able to secure salmon and sea trout fishing on England and Scotland’s premium fisheries, subject to availability.

David also specializes in chalk stream, salmon and sea trout angling using the heavy nymph technique, which were perfected on the southern chalk streams of the Test, Itchen, and Avon. Fly casting tuition for novices and the experienced angler wishing to progress are available in both single and double handed rods.
