Capt. Doug has fly fished in fresh, salt and blue water. He is a USCG licensed captain and a writer, photographer and fly fishing guide who has published more than 100 articles on the subject. His innovative fly designs can be found in wholesale catalogs and in seven books, most recently in "Go to Flies," by Tony Lolli (Wilderness Adventure Press).

Doug is a featured guide on "Fishing the Flats" on Fox Sports, ESPN Sports and the Sunshine Network. He has also been instrumental in his support of the Redbone@Large Tournaments to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis, and with David Duval and John Barrett won the Fly Fishing Division in St. Augustine (2002). He is sponsored by a number of major manufacturers including Temple Forks, Scientific Anglers, Garmin Electronics and Action Craft Boats.

Capt. Doug is also a contributing writer for Florida Outdoors Magazine, Coastal Angler Magazine, Fins & Skins Magazine, and a host of other local publications. He also has two books to be published in the coming year.
