Information
John grew up in northwest Oregon, fishing the rivers of Oregon's north coast from a family home on the Nestucca River. He learned to fly fish at a young age and has fished extensively throughout Oregon and the Pacific northwest. John specializes in one thing: spey fishing for steelhead. Whether summer or fall run on the Deschutes, or winter and spring run on the Oregon coast, John is always chasing steelhead.
Outside of fishing, John's interests include deer and elk hunting and custom tile work. John has been a partner in Adventures in Fly Fishing since 2004.
