I'm fortunate enough to be located in some of the most brutal country in the west, the Grande Ronde River drainage of Hell's Canyon. My main services are one day steelhead float trips from Sept.-April, with the monsters grabbing at dry flies in the Sept.-Oct. 15 time frame. From there out it's usually a sub-surface or weighted fly.
I offer drift trips for native rainbows and smallmouth bass. I also offer overnight float trips and longer whitewater trips on the Snake and Salmon Rivers. I love to introduce people to fly fishing and have found that a float trip, dry fly fishing for trout and bass is the best way to get started.
