Growing up in Alaska, Rodger Carbone realized the outdoors was the place to be. His experience spans both rivers and lakes and he has guided on the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon, where he met his wife Audrey. Together they started Carbone's Flyfishing guide service in 1986. Today, they offer fly fishing trips on Oregon’s Deschutes and Crooked Rivers for wild rainbow trout and steelhead. They also serve as the exclusive outfitter on Grindstone Lakes for trophy trout.
Their attention to detail, combined with their guiding, boating and culinary experience, will insure your comfort and pleasure on your fly fishing trip.
In addition to guiding, Rodger is a professional woodcarver and sculptor. He has received national and international recognition for a number of his pieces.
