Information

We like to fish. We enjoy hosting guests from around the world. It is a delight to share outdoor adventures and fishing experiences with accomplished fly fishers as well as beginners. Some guests retain us for one-on-one fishing for several days. These in-depth, concentrated trips provide focused, high quality experiences. Many guests return year after year. Many of our outings support families and friends of varied levels of skill. Dr. Nancy Messmer and I are very supportive to members of a party who require additional guidance and instruction. This allows the more accomplished fishers to focus on fishing.

Our fisheries vary throughout the year:

July/August/September: Our attention is shared between fly fishing summer steelhead on the many spectacular rivers of Washington State and fly-casting to salmon in coastal waters. More than 25 years of guiding have honed our skills. Where, when, and how are our specialties.

October: May be one of the greatest months of the year! Thousands of sea run cutthroat, Coho and King salmon, as well as late summer-run Steelhead fill our Washington rivers.

November-April:

We are diligent to winter steelhead on the fly. This is a challenging fish and fishery. Skills, endurance, and determination produce results. Each year we are able to assist winter fly casters in finding winter steelhead, some for their fist steelhead ever.

May/June: We still fish for salmon and steelhead, but we enjoy expeditions throughout Washington State trout fishing our finest lakes and rivers. Truly a time of year to be out and about welcoming the spring hatches and the trout who love them so.
