Information

Captain Sean Crawford has been fishing the Bay over 25 years and is a Federation of Fly Fishers Certified Fly Casting Instructor. He has a Masters Degree in Marine-Estuarine Environmental Science from the University of Maryland and he will gladly share his knowledge and expertise on fishing the bay, fly casting and the Chesapeake Bay’s complex tides and ecosystem. Sean is also a member of the Coastal Conservation Association and Trout Unlimited, but the bottom line is, Sean loves to take people fishing, teach them new techniques with fly rods or spinning rods and most of all have fun!

Terrapin Bay Fishing provides fly and light tackle fishing on the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries. The Chesapeake Bay is the largest estuary in the United States and a major spawning ground and nursery for striped bass, the Maryland state fish. The shallow waters and seemingly unlimited shoreline of the Bay provide great habitat and excellent fly and light tackle opportunities for striped bass, as well as bluefish, spanish mackerel, croaker and white perch.
