Bay Anglers is owned and operated by the husband-and-wife team of Steve and JoAnn Grant. Experience this special place as they see it. Come and share their passion for fishing, for Baja, and for conserving what makes this place so magical.

With the Colorado Rockies as a backdrop, Steve learned from his father the art of fly casting and fly tying at an early age. Since then, he’s embraced and expanded this passion, spending thousands of hours on the water pursuing trout throughout the Rockies, steelhead and salmon of Michigan and Idaho, the grand slam in Belize, along with the aquarium of gamefish found along Baja’s coast.

Steve has been enjoying the spoils and challenges of fly fishing southern Baja for the past eight years. He´s also an innovator of fly patterns and a custom rod builder. He currently guides in Montana in the summers and Baja in the fall and spring.

JoAnn is also a fly-fishing enthusiast, a naturalist and an artist. She has an ever-growing knowledge of the area and its ecology.

They currently operate saltwater fly-fishing expeditions in the East Cape and Magdalena Bay areas of Baja California Sur, Mexico.
